Three Ravens Fly
Three ravens fly – above the mountains What they seek – I do not know I saw them then – when I was climbing I see them now – in evening’s glow.
There is a time – to climb your mountains When you are young – and strong and free There is a time – to sit and ponder On what we were – and still might be.
So sit with me – here in the valley And tell the tales - of days gone by And we will sit – and we will slumber And in our dreams – three ravens fly.
(Tune: “Peggy Gordon” traditional ballad)
