The Zillionaire

There came a zillionaire, to a place quite near to Jackson Hole
He bought a rancho there, deluxe as it could be.
This was his property, he walked the boundary,
Never will I share it with another human being.
First came the fisherman, wading up the trout stream there
Casting his line about, merry as could be.
Out came the zillionaire, plus seven Dobermans,
Never will I share it with another human being.
Next came the bicyclist, on his sturdy mountain bike,
Zooming down the sagebrush hills, speedy as can be
Out came the zillionaire, now with a shotgun there
Never will I share it with another human being.
Next came the UMBRAPHILES, with their mighty telescopes,
Looking for a spot to watch, the shadow from the west.
Out came the zillionaire, waving his cellphone there -
"Leave, or you soon will be - subject to arrest!"
Next came the elk hunters, on their little A.T.V.'s
Permits in hand, they came, driving up his road.
Out came the zillionaire, locked up his cyclone fence
Never will I share it with another human being.
Then came the forest fires, as they do quite frequently,
Burning both hill and dale, carefree as can be.
Loud cried the zillionaire - "Where is the fire crew!?"
"Down upon the County Road, admiring your fence!"
(Tune: "Early One Morning", traditional ballad)
